Marta is experienced in understanding complexities within family systems and the impact of trauma on personal well being. She also holds expertise in supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds in adoption and post-adoption related matters.
Marta approaches each client with openness and respect. She believes that the relationship between a client and therapist can be a meaningful partnership in the therapeutic process when developed through authentic engagement. Marta understands that making changes in one’s life may feel daunting, and she is committed to creating an emotionally safe environment conducive to exploring whatever it is inspiring the initial decision to seek professional support, as well as any other issues of concern which may surface during the course of therapy. Marta tailors her therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each client, operating from an insight-oriented perspective while also integrating solution-focused interventions.
Marta currently works with individual adult clients ages 18 and up. Her professional interests include: anxiety, depression, trauma, adoption/post-adoption, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and life transitions.
